Medix medical case managers work hand in hand with our nurse medical coordinators who have ongoing contact with the patents. There is a constant exchange of information and observations between the physician and the nurse medical coordinator regarding the patient and the steps that need to be taken next.

Every case and every patient is different and there is no one right way to manage a case.  Even so, the basic approach to each case should be similar.

The golden and guiding rule at  Medix is to question everything. Until we have personally proven a diagnosis, it is not accepted as fact.  We do not accept any data or diagnosis as correct without going over relevant materials and coming to our own conclusions. Our medical case managers personally review every medical document we receive. While this approach is demanding and time consuming, it is extremely helpful and has proven its worth many times over.

Our doctors are adept at reviewing cases and viewing the case from different angles.

Some of the questions our physicians ask themselves about each case:
Is this an acute case demanding immediate intervention?
Does the patient have a diagnosis?
Has the diagnosis been proven?
Are there any missing documents or details?
Do the radiology tests the patient has done need revising?
What specialty does this case fall under?
Is there a need to consult with an additional specialist for this condition?
Is there a need for more blood tests, radiology tests or other diagnostic procedures?
Can this patient been helped?
What is the best treatment for this patient?
